【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedasascreeningtooltodeterminethehydrostaticpressuretowhichaliquid-appliedwaterproofingmembranemaybesubjectedwithoutfailingwhenstretchedoveracrackinthesubstrate.Thistestmethoddiscriminatesbetweenamembranethatisveryresistanttohydrostaticpressureandonethatisnot.Becauseofthevariabilityinherentinthistestmethod,itisnotrecommendedthatthistestmethodbeusedtosetanumericalstandardforhydrostaticpressureresistance.Nopredictionofdurabilityatlowerhydrostaticpressurescanbemadewhenusingtheresultsofthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesalaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingtheresistanceofawaterproofingmembranetohydrostaticpressure.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4TherearenoISOstandardssimilarorequivalenttothisASTMstandard.
