【摘要】:(a)ThisStandardestablishesperformancerequirementsforairwireropehoistsforverticalliftingserviceinvolvingmaterialhandlingoffreelysuspended(unguided)loadsusingwireropeastheliftingmediumwithoneofthefollowingtypesofsuspension:(1)lug;(2)hook;(3)trolley;(4)baseordeckmounted(doesnotincludebasemounteddrumhoistsofthetypecoveredbyASMEB30.7);(5)wallorceilingmounted(doesnotincludebasemounteddrumhoistsorthetypecoveredbyASMEB30.7).(b)ThisStandardisapplicabletohoistsmanufacturedafterthedateonwhichthisStandardisissued.ThisStandardisnotapplicableto:(1)damagedormalfunctioninghoists;(2)hoiststhathavebeenmisusedorabused;(3)hoiststhathavebeenalteredwithoutauthorizationofthemanufactureroraqualifiedperson;(4)hoistsusedforthepurposeofdrawingboththeloadandthehoistupordownthehoist'sownwirerope;(5)hoistsusedformarineandotherapplicationsasrequiredbytheDepartmentofDefense(DOD).
