【摘要】:ThisclauseoftheGeneralStandardapplies,exceptasfollows:ThisParticularStandardspecifiesthesafetyrequirementsforVENTILATORS,asdefinedin2.1.125,intendedforuseincriticalcaresettings.Continuouspositiveairwaypressure(CPAP)devices,sleepapneatherapydevices,support-careVENTILATORS,emergencyandtransportVENTILATORS,jetandhighfrequencyVENTILATORSandoscillatorsareoutsidethescopeofthisParticularStandard,noraredevicesthatmaybeusedwithinhospitals,intendedsolelytoaugmenttheventilationofspontaneouslybreathingPATIENTS.StandardsforothertypesofVENTILATORS,e.g.highfrequencyjetandoscillationventilators,areunderconsideration.RequirementsforVENTILATORSintendedforanaestheticapplicationsaregiveninIEC60601-2-13.
