【摘要】:Theprincipleofthemethodspecifiedisheatingasampleinaboilingwater-bathwithaknownamountofpotassiumpermanganateundsulfuricacidforafixedperiodtime(10min),reducingpartofthepermanganatebyoxidizablematerialinthesampleanddeterminingtheconsumedpermanganatebyadditionofanexcessofoxalatesolution,followedbytitrationwithpermanganate.Appliestowatershavingaclorideionconcentrationoflessthan300mg/l.Sampleshavingapermanganateindexover10mg/lshouldbedilutedbeforeanalysis.Thelowerlimitoftheoptimumrangeofthetestis0,5mg/l.

【摘要】:Intoday''scommerce,instrumentmakersandinstrumentusersmustdealwithalargearrayofbench-topandportablecolor-measuringinstruments,manywithdifferentgeometricandspectralcharacteristics.Atthesametime,manufacturersofcoloredgoodsareadoptingqualitymanagementsystemsthatrequireperiodicverificationoftheperformanceoftheinstrumentsthatarecriticaltothequalityofthefinalproduct.Thetechnologyinvolvedinopticsandelectro-opticshasprogressedgreatlyoverthelastdecade.Theresulthasbeenagenerationofinstrumentsthatarebothmoreaffordableandhigherinperformance.Whathadbeenatoolfortheresearchlaboratoryisnowavailabletotheretailpointofsale,tomanufacturing,todesignandtocorporatecommunications.Newdocumentarystandardshavebeenpublishedthatencouragetheuseofcolorimeters,spectrocolorimeters,andcolorimetricspetrometersinapplicationspreviouslydominatedbyvisualexpertiseorbyfilterdensitometers.Therefore,itisnecessarytodetermineifaninstrumentissuitabletotheapplicationandtoverifythataninstrumentorinstrumentsareworkingwithintherequiredoperatingparameters.Thispracticeprovidesdescriptionsofsomecommoninstrumentalparametersthatrelatetothewayaninstrumentwillcontributetothequalityandconsistencyoftheproductionofcoloredgoods.Italsodescribessomeofthematerialstandardsrequiredtoassesstheperformanceofacolor-measuringinstrumentandsuggestssometestsandtestreportstoaidinverifyingtheperformanceoftheinstrumentrelativetoitsintendedapplication.1.1Thispracticeprovidesstandardtermsandproceduresfordescribingandcharacterizingtheperformanceofspectralandfilterbasedinstrumentsdesignedtomeasureandcomputethecolorimetricpropertiesofmaterialsandobjects.Itdoesnotsetthespecificationsbutrathergivestheformatandprocessbywhichspecificationscanbedetermined,communicatedandverified.1.2Thispracticedoesnotdescribemethodsthataregenerallyapplicabletovisible-rangespectroscopicinstrumentsusedforanalyticalchemistry(UV-VISspectrophotometers).ASTMCommitteeE13onMolecularSpectroscopyandChromatographyincludessuchproceduresinstandardsundertheirjurisdiction.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
